Blunt Logic has been a gaming team for over 5 years. We span multiple MMOs, have competed with and against one another, made great friends, and had a blast doing it all. We are adult gamers and take great pride in bringing the end game environment to a casual crowd. We are currently playing WAR and are preparing for Aion and SW:ToR.
We've never had a written history. What follows is that history as submitted for WAR closed beta testing. I hope you enjoy the following thoughts on our guild from some of its leadership - Erinys, Ozack, and Sanictavia. It's not where you're from or where you're at. It's where you are going and how you got there. -- Gpunk
My name is Ojoe Epileptic and I am a human medic. I have traveled across many a galaxy while wearing many hats searching for the scum that killed my family. I have spent the last few months outside
Bestine on Tatooine, in a cave refining my poisons and sharpening my skill with a rifle. While I was on Talus I was able to acquire this Jawa cannon you see before you. I am still trying to understand it's burst fire ability.
I was only a boy living on Naboo with my family and best friend when the rebels began their uprising. We got wind of it from the traders that were coming in and out of mom's shop. As The Empire moved closer to Theed, we began to see rebels taking up arms.
My best friend Dekan and I were nothing more than a couple of misguided youths. Our excitement came from chasing girls and crafting armor and weapons. My brother, Ata, was rarely home as he had a very lucrative business funneling the spice he made to the underground. He traveled from cantina to cantina, dispersing his wares and modifying weapons. As Ata and I grew apart, Dekan and I grew closer.
We got wind of a new elite group of merc fighters that were rising up against The Empire. We were fascinated. Both of us dreamed of a day when we were skilled enough to stand at arms. They called themselves ECHO Squadron. Dekan
and I knew that some day, our turn would come and we wanted to be prepared.
As the rebels began their first encounters with The Empire on Naboo, Dekan and I finished up our training and set out to acquire armor and weapons that were quality enough to join the battle. We headed off
to Boozarks armor supply in hopes that when we returned in our new armor, ECHO would need a medic and a Teras Kasi Martial artist. It was a long journey across the galaxy but as we traveled we acquired many wonderful new toys.
When Dekan and I returned to Theed, we were shocked to see that ECHO had beaten The Empire into the shadows. All Imperial troops were nearly gone. As we arrived home we were shocked to see that our mother's shop had been razed in one of the battles. We franticly ran to the house, looking for mom and dad. We spent hours looking but never did find them. Our neighbors were the ones that gave us the grave news.
ECHO Squadron had leveled the house, the shops, and our farm while in an epic battle with The Empire. The very people we looked up to and wanted to join had killed our entire family with complete disregard. Our livelihood was still smoking in front of us as we clung to one another in dismay. The fires still burn in our hearts.
It was that day that drove the hatred for ECHO into the very depths of our souls. That day motivated what became the largest Imperial force the galaxy had ever seen. Two brothers called to arms as the Legion of the Damned (LOTD), proudly adorned with the Imperial symbol. That day, two brothers swore that no matter what the cost, ECHO would be removed from existence.
